This week, we have brought together all that we have been learning about volcanoes into one fabulous information text. The children have LOVED the process and have shown so much pride in their writing…
In Maths, we have been exploring efficient ways to multiply and discussing how important it is to look carefully at the numbers before deciding how to tackle a question. For practice sheets, see here: Maths sheets final
In Topic, we enjoyed learning about tectonic plates and different plate boundaries.
- In Maths, we will be exploring shape, including area and perimeter
- In English, we will be in diving into our new English unit, based on ‘The Impossible’ – a film about the devastating Boxing Day tsunami.
- For STEM Day on Thursday 25th November, we would be most grateful if you could find and bring from home any of the following:
– Plastic bottle tops (e.g. milk container tops)
-Teddies or other small zipline riders!
Many thanks and wishing you a restful weekend.
