In our TastEd sessions we have been focusing on the effect our hearing has on foods – especially crunchy ones! In Polaris, we tested R’s conjecture that it only worked with crunchy foods and seemed to come to a consensus on this. Why not try this at home?

In our Science learning we have been exploring the concept of air resistance by making parachutes – does the larger surface area increase the air resistance and time taken to reach the ground? It was great to see lots of collaborative problem solving going on.

We finish this week’s blog with a wonderful display of our Art learning, created in conjunction with Mrs Smith – we crafted greenery that broke through the cracks to symbolise the courage and resilience we show everyday in our learning.

This week’s Maths sheets can be found here.

Next week:

  • Monday: Road Safety sessions with Premier
  • More exploration of the Topic, what was life like in Britain during WW2?
  • Will Felix become more aware in Guided Reading?
