What a happy end to our half term. Today, we enjoyed tucking into a beautifully prepared school picnic during our school street party, to honour the service of Her Majesty the Queen.
In English, we explored how to effectively pace writing to create tension and atmosphere. We finished the week writing some rather scary stories, which had Mr Drane and Mrs Sharman on the edge of their seats!
We also enjoyed a wonderful Art session which culminated in us creating some beautiful London skylines…without taking our pens off the page! Impressive indeed!
It has been such a busy half term and we are so very proud of Year 6. We are really looking forward to all the fun to come during the children’s final half term of UCPS, but until then, we wish everyone a very peaceful and restful holiday.
