This week, two teams with children from both Year 5 and 6 entered the South Cambs hockey tournaments. There was both a Cup and Plate competition. We came joint 7th in the Plate competition and – after winning all of our games in the group stages – went on to the final in the Cup. Sadly, we lost 2-1 to a better Histon side, but we will be back next year to try to bring home the cup..!

As well as this, the girls had another friendly match in preparation for their London finals – they drew 1-1 to a very good Meldreth side yesterday. Both boys and girls will have a friendly next week against Trumpington and even more Year 6s will be taking part in a netball tournament on Tuesday next week – good luck everyone.

In Maths, we have continued our learning about algebra – the consolidation sheets can be found: here.
