This week, we were treated to a pantomime spectacular from the Dib and Dab company – lots of laughs were had and we are grateful for this festive treat.
Also, we were lucky enough to have a visit from a parent who studies DNA to add further context to our focus on this area of science – thank you for answering all of our questions.
We have also worked hard at tackling long division problems with remainders – if you would like any further consolidation in this area, the sheets can be found here: Division Remainders
The spelling focus for this week can also be found below:
or | morning | according | laboratory (work) |
distorted | format (shape) | transform (across, shape)
awkward | herbivore (eat) | carnivore (flesh, eat)
fought | ought | authority |
Next week:
- Essays considering the pros and cons of genetic engineering to round off our Project
- Learning Conversations
- Family Friday (starting for us at 2:45)
