This week, we were treated to a fantastic assembly by two parents in our school community who published a lovely book this week. We were let in on their process – from the beginning of their journey which started with a conversation in Eddington’s Sainsbury’s to the finished product that we saw this week. It was so inspiring – and we hope it will have inspired many future illustrators and authors!

We also loved our Art sessions this Mrs Smith, who inspired us to take a global brand and turn it into a repeating pattern. We were so impressed by the outcomes!

In Maths this week, we have been focusing on the relationship between fractions and decimals. See here for practice: Blog Maths sheets
In English, we have begun planning our essay titled ‘Globalisation makes the world a better place. Discuss’. We have been gathering our thoughts and ideas about this statement, developing our thinking on the pros and cons of globalisation which we continue to explore next week.
