This week, the children were busy completing their Journey Books and Suitcase Project. They were so proud to share what they had created with their families during Family Friday. Thank you to everyone who came- the children loved showing you all the amazing things they’ve done this term!

This week in maths, we focused on practising addition and subtraction with decimal numbers.
In Guided Reading, we finished Floodland, and the children were delighted that Zoe found her parents in the end.
In STEM, we explored time zones, sundials, and why the moon appears in different shapes in the sky—lots to learn, but the children rose to the challenge brilliantly!

This week, we also enjoyed a fantastic Forest School session, complete with hot chocolate and marshmallows around the fire pit.

Please note: Olympus will have their Forest School session on the first Monday back (as they missed it due to the bank holiday). Make sure your child brings their Forest School kit that day.

The children have worked incredibly hard and truly deserve a restful break. Have a wonderful holiday!
