Finally, the sun is out!
This week:
In English, we have continued the work on our Windrush topic. We really enjoyed writing Windrush poem based on “Windrush Child” by John Agard. The children were very creative and excited to perform their poems.
In Maths, we have been learning the term “-kilo”, “-milli” and “-centi”. We have begun to learn how to convert between units of measurement.
In STEM, we had fun finding out about harmful microbes and we carried out a bio glitter experiment, seeing how easily harmful viruses pass around the classroom, obviously washing our hands at the end!
In Guided Reading, we have continued reading “The Explorer” finding out how the children have teamed up together to build a raft and set up camp in the Amazon.
