Instead of printing, you could draw the template in your book and complete the activity there.
Challenge: Create lesser characters for your story that your main character either travels with; encounters on their travels; is in conflict with; rescues as part of the story or are there to fill out scenes (e.g. shop assistant or innkeeper).
Tuesday 31st March 2020
Activity: Your story will be based around humanoid robots in any way of your choosing. It could be set in an alternate universe where there are lots of humanoids, your main character could be a humanoid or the problem could involved humanoids. Using a story mountain or story mapping boxes, plan your story from start to finish. Remember that a story includes: Introduction (introduce character and setting), Build up (what happens to get the character to the main part of the story), Problem, Resolution (where the problem is solved) and Ending.
Challenge: Create a spider diagram or mind map of everything you have learned about humanoids during this topic and identify areas of learning that you could include in your story.
Wednesday 1st April 2020
Activity: Write your story using the Narrative Success Criteria. Use coloured pencils to underline different aspects of the success criteria in your writing and get a parent to check.
