What a fantastic week it has been in Year 4. We’re delighted to share our latest activities and a sneak peek of what’s coming up next week.
In STEM, we’ve been About tooth decay. The students have engaged in a fascinating experiment where they submerged an egg in Cola, water, and vinegar. Before taking the plunge, they made predictions about what would happen to the egg in each liquid.
Meanwhile, in History, we’ve been immersing ourselves in the life and legacy of the legendary Alexander the Great. Our research has taken us on a journey through his conquests and the profound influence he had on history.
Next week,
- In Maths, we’re taking rounding to the next level. We’ll be rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100, and 1000. This mathematical skill is essential, and the students will have plenty of opportunities to practice and solidify their knowledge.
- Additionally, please note that next week, the children will have a chance to check their progress through learning papers in various subjects. This is a valuable opportunity for them to assess their understanding and for us to provide support where needed.
Lastly, preparations for our Ancient Greek performances are in full swing, and we’re all eager for you to witness the results of our hard work.
FAMILY FRIDAY will be on Friday 20th of October at 14:30. Please come along and see your child’s wonderful progress!
