🪸 Reef-Freshing Learning & Rainforest Wonders! 🌧️
This week we have been diving deep into the coral reef, exploring the incredible plants and animals that live beneath the waves. The children have been fascinated by how diverse and delicate these underwater ecosystems are, and our science discussions have been full of curiosity and great questions.
In geography, we have been learning about the rainforest, comparing its layers, climate, and wildlife to what we discovered in our coral reef study. The children are beginning to notice important connections between different habitats and why protecting them matters.
In English, we are very close to completing the first drafts of our expository pieces. Everyone has been working hard to organise their ideas clearly. We are excited to begin revising and editing!
We are also pleased to share that Times Tables Rock Stars is now back up and running. Please encourage your child to practise every day, even just for a few minutes—it makes a big difference!
Our spelling words to focus on this week are:
long ‘o’ sound: suppose, throw, groan, grown, although, though, dough.

Thank you for your continued support—well done to everyone for a brilliant week of learning!
