We have had a wonderful week learning in Year 4 this week! In English, we have been using the story of ‘Arthur and the Golden Rope’ to write our own adventure stories! We used the story maps we created to innovate the original story and have been focusing on using paragraphs to organise our writing. In Maths, we have been looking at finding the fractions of a whole number and have been using bar models to represent this. In PRE, we have continued exploring our key question: What does it mean to lead a good life? We looked at how Buddhists might tackle this questions and compared it with out own views. In Science, we have been exploring the functions of our lungs. We did an experiment to test our lung capacity and thought about how this links with exercise.
