Wow! What brilliant performances we have had this week. The year 4 children worked incredibly hard and put on shows to be proud of!
Thank you for all of your support with our Ancient Greece project. We hope the children have celebrated with you at home.
This week, we finalised the project by learning about how the Ancient Greece perioded ended. The Hellenistic Era saw a Roman invasion at the end of the period. Good job we are learning all about the Ancient Romans in Spring 1!
In STEM this week the children have been investigating tooth decay. They examined what happened to an egg if it was left in coke, water, milk and orange juice over a long period of time. They then worked scientifically to represent their findings and thought of questions they could investigate based on this.
Assessment week has gone well and the children have worked really hard.
Thank you for all of your support for the start of the year.
We hope you all have a restful and fun half term and look forward to seeing you on Monday 31st .
Half term:
If you are looking for anything to do with your child’s learning over half term, please encourage them to read for pleasure and share with us what books they are interested in. We can direct them to other books that they may be interested in. Also, looking at analogue and digital time would be useful!
