What a wonderful week we have had in year 4!

We have launched into our new topic of Ancient Egypt, learning about Tutankhamun and taking part in playful enquiry to discover different elements of Egyptian culture.

In English, we have been retrieving information about Tutankhamun and have been writing informative paragraphs based on this.

For Maths, we have been looking at the place value of 1000. If you would like to have a go at this week’s learning, please find it here: Lesson 1

Lesson 2

Lesson 3 Snap Game

Lesson 4

This week we took part in our first TastEd session! An exciting project where we get to try fresh produce and think about how it is cooked. We learnt about our two golden rules: 1. you don’t have to like it and 2. you don’t have to try it. We were really excited to try the food and some of us were particularly courageous when trying something new!
