What can we say, we have had the most amazing week in Year 4! The children were a credit to the school and we were blown away by how they represented the school- it was great to see the Golden Agreements and the school values being lived beyond the walls of the school (not to mention the bravery that we saw constantly!).

It has been a short week back at school but we have still managed to get some wonderful learning done. In STEM, we continued to look at electricity and built our own circuits. We then created rooms and add our circuits to!

Building our circuits!

See if you can spot our circuits in our rooms!

To round up our Caythorpe week, we created information booklets about the trip to give to the Year 3’s.

Guided Reading: Next week we will be reading chapters 6-8. Find a PDF copy of the book here: https://online.flipbuilder.com/fdyv/brbc/index.html

Next week:

  • Just a reminder that we have a 3 days school week week (Monday 1st is a Bank holiday and Tuesday 2nd is a teacher strike day)
  • For more information on the teacher strike day please see emails from the school.
  • Learning conversations are being held on the 3rd and 4th, these will be held online and information about how to book has been sent out via email.
  • We are holding a school coronation street party to celebrate on the Friday 5th. All the children will be eating together in the inner circle and we cannot wait to celebrate.
