After an hour and a half of hearing “Are we there yet?” and “How much longer?” we arrived at Caythorpe. The children were ecstatic and ready to take a peek at their dorm rooms – which they settled into with wild excitement. After a bit of leisure time and playing, the children headed to lunch where they ate to their heart’s content.
After this, the activities began, and across the different groups today children had a go climbing, abseiling, microscootering, giant swing-ing and a sensory trail-ing! This took us up to dinner and then finally, we completed a ‘Passport to the World’ orienteering task.
We are looking forwards to the children going to sleep and waking up ready for the fun that tomorrow brings!
