Year 4 have had another brilliant week! We have enjoyed getting to know our new topic in more detail and cannot wait to see what we discover next.

In Maths, we have been looing at bridging 1000, focusing on consolidating our place value knowledge. If you would like additional practice, please find the sheets here: Maths learning autumn 1 week 3

In English, we have continued learning about the Odyssey. We have been looking at Scylla and Charybdis and using this to explore how authors present choices in writing.

In History, we have been learning about some key dates in Ancient Greece and have began thinking about what life would have been like.

In Maths we are looking at ordering dour digit numbers, this will build upon our place value learning

In English we will be doing a longer piece of writing based on the Odyssey, focusing on conjunctions and punctuation.
