It has been a busy week! We started the week with a topic launch of our History unit: Ancient Greece! We have been learning about life in Ancient Greece and thinking about how we can infer this information form different sources.

In English, we have been learning the story of Odysseus and the Cyclopes. We started by acting out the story and then spent the week looking at using expanded noun phrases to describe some of the different characters in the story. We ended the week by creating our own Sirens and describing thee for our friends to draw.

In Maths, we have been looking at place value to 1000. We have been looking at connecting numbers to 1000 with out number bonds to 10. Please find some extra practice here:Maths for blog week 2

In STEM, we have started looking at the digestive system. We have started this by looking at the functions of our teeth.

Next Week:

In English we are continuing looking at stories from the Odyssey, focusing on comparisons in writing.

In Maths, we are consolidating our pace value knowledge.
