Our first 5 day week in a while and it has been wonderful to see the passion for learning seeping from all of the Year 4 classrooms!
In English, we have been using the topics raised in the Barnabas Project to write our own essays. We explored the features of balanced arguments and then planned, wrote and edited our own balanced arguments. The children had such creative ideas and were able to wrote with passion and empathy. In Maths, we started by consolidating our learning on short division. We then moved on to looking at shape and reflection. In Science, we used our knowledge of circuits to troubleshoot some incorrect circuits. We also continued our DT and Computing projects, getting ready for our final pieces of learning.
