This week’s learning:
English: We have been continuing our non chronological reports by focusing on how King Tut’s tomb was discovered.
Grammar focus: Adverbs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfenLGAYDeg
Maths: We have been exploring number lines and how to read them, as well as place a variety of values onto them.
STEM: We took a short walk to the Storey’s field centre where a Geologist from the Sedgewick Museum told us about the different type of rocks that can be found round Eddington. Did you know the benches attached to the walls of the centre are made of limestone from 145 million years ago!
Next week:
English: We will be completing our non chronological report by writing a section on the theories as to how Tutankhamun died.
Maths: We will be looking in detail at the strategies we can use to find out the value of intervals on number lines.
Grammar: consolidating adverbs and complex sentences
