This week we began working on a showcase of writing for our Ancient Egypt project. Children chose an animal (either cat, crocodile, scarab beetle or falcon) and researched it’s significance in the world of Ancient Egypt. Maybe your child you tell you an interesting fact about their animal? We continued this theme in project, by learning how to write in hieroglyphics.

In Maths we continued looking at number lines, this week graduating to estimating intervals on a blank number line. Here are our worksheets:  Maths Sheets Week 5 – Number Lines

Soil was the name of the game in STEM and we experimented with how dense different soils were, but seeing how much water drained through.
