This week we have had a roaring start to our summer term. We started our week by hearing about a mysterious creature that Dr Biddulph spotted in the forest. It turns out that there is a myth in Eddington about a mysterious creature who flies at night, but don’t worry it isn’t scary! We found some clues in the forest and used them to help us write a character description and draw a picture of the beast.
In maths we have been continuing fractions, exploring the importance of a fraction being split into equal parts as well as exploring fractions of groups of objects. Please find this week’s sheet here: Maths sheets.pub
In topic we researched shadow puppetry, looking at how they are made, how to enlarge shadows and which countries are known for their history of shadow puppetry.
Thank you to everyone who managed to make it to family Friday, we hope you enjoyed sharing your child’s learning with them!
