This week we have been busy growing more plants! Now he have started to investigate the best conditions to grow our class beans, we are also growing our own cress plants, using our gardening knowledge. We are hoping that during Easter they will have grown enough so we can eat them!

In our geography lesson this week we delved further into the Fenlands and learnt about why they are so important.

In English, we read a new book called Mama Miti: Wangari Maathai and the Trees of Kenya. It has been a great story to develop our empathy skills and we have written descriptively using commas for lists and possessive apostrophes. Please find two BBC links here to learn more:  commas for lists  possessive apostrophes

In maths, we finished our unit on multiplication and division and then started our next unit on measurement, perfecting our ruler skills. We can show you how to use string to measure round objects! Maths Sheets Week 4
