We have had a lovely start to the half term in Year 2. The children have returned to school with enthusiasm and super attitudes to learning-well done Sky
larks, Robins and Swifts! We launched our new project this week- we will be learning about Monarchy through different historical periods and exploring different themes as we travel through history.
Next week:
English- we will be concentrating on grammar and punctuation
Phonics- we will be concentrating on the sound /e/ (e, ea, ai)
Maths- we will be adding two 2-digit numbers without regrouping (such as 25 + 32)
History- we will exploring royal ceremonies with a particular focus on coronations
