What an amazing week full of colour, music, art and science learning! This week we looked at what makes us all unique and learned about genes, DNA and traits.
We wrote wonderful poems about what makes us special.
We also practised our samba moves.
We looked at the history of Carnival and floats and even made our own ones with lego.
We came together as a whole school during the Carnival parade. Thank you everyone for supporting this colourful community event!
Next Week
On Monday classes will have jump up day in the afternoon. This is a chance for the children to meet their new class teacher and friends. Lots of thought has gone into the classes for next year so we thank you in advance for supporting us in helping the children to have a smooth transition. We hope this will be a joyful experience for all.
Next week, the temperature is predicted to be even higher so please remind children to wear hats, put on sun cream in the morning and drink lots of water. We will continue to do the same in school.
We will be sending most children’s books home next week on Tuesday. Please can children bring in a plastic bag to put these in as they might be heavy to carry.
There are no clubs next week and school will end at 1:30 on Thursday.
