Although our week has been a shorter one, we have still managed to pack in some great learning!

On Monday, we all had a STEM morning where we learnt about what a microhabitat was and looked in our school forest to find them. Mr Longden, our forest school teacher, said the information we found out was very useful to him!

In maths, we learnt about how we can use basic number facts to help us when adding and subtracting ones. For example, in the equation 23 + 5 if we know that 3 + 5 = 8 then 23 + 5 = 28. Please find the maths sheets here to practice with your child:   Maths Worksheets W3

In English, we wrote a setting description based on this page of the book ‘The Comet’. We focused on using our senses to describe and how we might travel through the picture.
