We have had a jam packed week full of learning this week!

In English, we read the book ‘The Comet’ and discussed the question ‘what is home?’. Later in the week, we created poems based on one of the images from the story using fantastic adjectives and adverbs.

In Maths, we learnt about our bonds to 100. We specifically spoke about how our bonds to 10 can support us with knowing our bonds to 100. If I know that 2 + 8 = 10 then 20 + 80 = 100. Please find the worksheets here: Maths Week 2 Bonds to 100

Also, here is a link to a maths game where your child can practice their bonds to 100.

In Geography, we started our new project ‘Cambridge and London’ and located where both Cambridge and London are on a map as well as finding out about the different map symbols and their meanings.

In Phonics, we have been learning the /i/ sound this week. Please see below some of the words we have been learning to read, write and spell.

built, trip, pretty, busy, myth, drip
