Apologises for not writing a Blog last week, technical issues stopped Mr Martell from writing one.
This is my first Blog entry, I hope you are all enjoying the weather. The World Cup is in full swing, I hope all your countries perform well.
This week we have started to draft our memoirs, it is exciting seeing how well Year two’s writing has progressed this year. We have looked at using mathematical language for direction and position. In PSHE we have looked at what being healthy means, including, diet, exercise and your social group.
STEM we looked at the difference between want and need when it comes to survival.
In PE Year 2 worked on their throwing and catching.
Next week
English: we will continue to draft our memoirs.
Maths: we will review division and multiplication.
Computing: continue working with DASH looking at algorithms and debugging!
STEM: look at what people need and want as well as Q&A about pregnancy.
D&T: we will explore different ways of joining fabrics.
As the weather is getting warmer, please remember to send your child to school with a hat, a water bottle and sun cream!
