What a wonderful penultimate week of term we have had!
In English this week we have been working on a Writing Showcase! We started the week by learning all about the Amazon Rainforest and the people who live there. We looked in depth and the different environments we might see- focusing on using powerful adjectives to create setting descriptions. We then compared our lives to the lives of the people who live in the Amazon. The children found this fascinating and their passion for the topic was apparent in their final piece of writing! Attached are some sheet looking at setting description English Sheets
In Maths, we started the week by recapping addition we regrouping. After that, we moved on to introducing subtraction with regrouping. We will continue to work on this Next week and in to next term. We have attached some sheets if your child would like some more practice Maths Sheets
