In English we have been immersing ourselves in the fable of The Boy Who Cried Wolf and using our imagination to describe the wolf with adjectives, expanded noun phrases and similies.

In Maths we have wrapped our brains around fractions going deep into thirds, quarters and the difference between unit and non-unit fractions.

In P4C we have been learning more about honesty and discussing the ethics of lying (evidently the boy who cried wolf didn’t pay much attention!)

Next week:

In English we are going to continue the boy who cried wolf, but this time we’ll be innovating on the text and making it our own.

In Maths we are going to start our unit on position and direction.

In phonics we are learning the sound: eer/ ear / ere

Next thursday we will also be having our sports day! We look forward to the friendly competition and fun that awaits!
