It’s been a great week with lots of learning! We have introduced the division symbol and how we share into equal and unequal groups. In English we have thought about our debates from last week to inform how we can write a persuasive letter to Dr Biddulph himself! In geography we’ve taken a deep dive on the Fenlands and all its physical features such as rivers, trees and animals plus – we’ve also used this knowledge to create our own beautiful butterflies in Art!

We also had world book day, and it was fantastic to see so many different books including those from around the world. So thank you very much for bringing them in and sharing with us all!

Next week:

English: we will be learning our new text, Ossiri and the Bala Mengro before making our own instruments! Please bring in lots of rubbish for junk modelling – any plastic bottles, boxes, or loo rolls are welcome!

Maths: we will be continuing our work on division and using the 5 and 10 times tables to work out divisoin questions.

Phonics: /oy/ /oi/ sound

Geography: we will be researching the Kenyan grasslands and creating a fact file.
