In English, we have started creating our poem booklets. Looking at how we can describe nature in different ways.

In Maths: we’re focusing on number lines as well as looking at greater than and less than. Maths W4 worksheets.pdf
In Stem: our focus was on materials. The children took to the playground to see which surface was best for a ball to bounce on. They made predictions and made sure that the test was fair.
Key messages
Reading books: please make sure these are returned in the morning of Thursday 1st October. The phonics books relate to the spellings we have been learning in class so please use them for any spelling practice alongside the reading. Your child will be given their new phonics book once the old one is returned.
PE days: Please ensure your child has a complete kit that includes: black or navy blue shorts and jogging bottoms or leggings as the weather is now turning colder, a plain white t-shirt, navy blue jumper or hoodie and trainers.
