World Book Day was a wonderful celebration of our love for reading! The children had a fantastic time sharing their favourite books with their friends, discussing their favourite characters and enjoying stories together. It was heartwarming to see their excitement as they read to one another, discovering new books and deepening their love for storytelling.
In STEM, the children have been exploring different types of seed dispersal and learning all about pollination. They were especially excited to see and touch real pollen, making their learning even more engaging!
In Geography, we delved into the topography of the UK, discovering where to find the most mountainous regions as well as the lowland areas.
In English, we began illustrating our writing project books. The children have beautifully illustrated the front cover, the resources page and Step 1 of their work.
In Maths, we explored arrays, working with rows and columns to understand the connection between multiplication and division.
In Phonics, we focused on the /j/ sound, learning how the same sound can be spelled in different ways.

A Special Thank You
