The children have had a fantastic week! They all performed brilliantly during sports day on Wednesday and cheered on their team mates, showing amazing sportsmanship.
In English, we have been writing dragon poems. We have used adjectives, verbs and interesting vocabulary to help us. We then chose our favourite poem and wrote It up neat to go in our class poetry book. We did some gorgeous pictures to go alongside our poems. In Maths, we have been focusing on multiplication and division. The children have been increasing their confidence using a variety of different methods to help them solve equations. Please click on the link for some extra work Division worksheet
Next week
Because the children have been so excited and engaged with dragons, we will be continuing to include them into our learning next week. In English, we will be writing a non-chronological report about a dragon. We will be creating a fact file about them and thinking about their appearance, habitat and diet.
In Maths, we will be focusing on measurement. We have many hands on activities we will be working on to help us solve the problems.
