What an amazing week we’ve had in Year 2!

This week in our Year 1 and 2 phase assembly, we explored why we celebrate Black History month. It’s an important time to recognize the achievements and contributions of Black individuals who have helped shape our world.

In English, we’ve been putting the finishing touches on our stories, carefully proofreading them to get them ready for publishing. We’ve paid close attention to the spelling of tricky exception words, making sure our writing shines with accuracy and creativity.

In Maths, we’ve been on a number adventure! We explored number lines, comparing which numbers are greater, less or equal. It’s been a fun way to sharpen our problem-solving skills! here are the sheets – Maths

Phonics has been just as exciting, as we explore the different ways to spell the /d/ sound. Each day, we’re improving our reading and writing skills and we can’t wait for what’s next!
