What a wonderful start we have had to the final half term. The children have utterly wowed us with the way they have worked with courage and brilliance during assessment week- they have showcased their learning and made us very proud! The children have continued to love everything OPAL has brought to their lunchtimes! All in all the children have embraced learning, challenged themselves and worked so hard! We hope the children are proud of the super learning they have done.
In other subjects, we have launched our D&T project focussing on puppets. We spent time exploring a range of puppets and enjoyed seeing what they could do. During Computing, we were very excited to meet our new robots called Dash!!
In STEM, we have started our unit on healthy animals.
Next week
English: we will begin our new unit on Memoir writing about our favourite memories.
Maths: we will be exploring time.
Computing: we will work with ‘Dash’ (our new robots) and find out what it can do!
STEM: we will be continuing our unit on healthy animals.
D&T: we will explore different ways of joining fabrics.
As the weather is getting warmer, please remember to send your child to school with a hat and sun cream!
