…wonderful, amazing, courageous, curious and fabulous learning all around! We have launched into the full timetable this week and the children really impressed us with the way they rose to this challenge. We also began our project (trailblazers) this week, meeting some amazing people from history and today and finding out about their impact on the world. Fantastic learning Year 2!

English: we will consolidate our learning on lists and captions, this week focusing on ‘Journey’ by Aaron Becker
Maths: we will be concentrating on our fluent recall of bonds to 10 before exploring the commutative law and adding 3 addends
STEM: we will be observing closely and making predictions
Geography: we will be naming and locating oceans on a map
Art: we will be experimenting with different collage techniques
RE: we will be exploring the story of The Good Samaritan
PSHCE: we will be thinking about our responsibilities in the classroom and at school
Reminders
Please can all children bring PE kits into school by next week.
Please can we remind all families to send a photo for our family boards by the end of next week.
