It’s been a phenomenal penultimate week in Year 2. We have been inspired by the Super Happy Magic Forest to come up with our very own villains and settings – some marvelously magical and some spectacular spooky.
In Maths, we have been consolidating our knowledge of bridging 10, and all the different representations of equations.
In History we have learned about Josephine Baker and Emmeline Pankhurst – considering how we would commemorate their lives by designing our own monument. In STEM we have visited the school forest and determined whether trees were deciduous or evergreen after collecting and analyzing the colour of the leaves.
Next week we will be showcasing all of our fantastic learning that we’ve done over this half term.
