Reading:Today you need to re-read ‘The Zoo Vet’, were there any words that you couldn’t read yesterday that you can today? Can you make a list of the words you found tricky and ask a grown up to help you practice, there are some difficult words! If you find this a challenge you can take it in turns to read the sentences with a family member, remember the more you practice the better you will be. Have courage 🙂

Maths: Get your torches at the ready because today we are going to explore 3D shapes in completely different way! Today we are identifying a 3D shape from the shadow it casts. We will also look at how 3D shadows can link to 2D shapes. Then you will undertake your own shadow investigation, seeing which shadows each 3D shape can make and recording it. Topic: we hope you enjoyed drawing a map of your chosen area for your Easter egg hunt yesterday, did you choose your garden or inside your house? So far you should have drawn the map, coloured it in and included in the key with the main features e.g. shed, apple tree etc.Today you need to add the locations that you are going to hide your Easter eggs.
