What a great week of learning releasing children’s imagination! Children have been talking and writing a description of a robotic city setting. Adults were really impressed with your great ideas and your beautiful writing.
In Maths the children have practised counting in steps of 10 in different ways. They have made arrays and solved word problems. We also reviewed couniting in 2s and in 5s.
In PE we practiced our reaction and response time and balance catching balls.
In PSHCE we have been learning about the benefits of a healthy and balanced diet. We also enjoyed our TastEd session when the children made their own fruit salad. It was nice to see children trying fruits that they never had before, like pomegranate seed.
The children have also enjoyed completing their Rainbow Challenges in class.]
Next week we will check children’s amazing learning and also we celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with lots of interesting and fun activities. We will write a letter to the Queen, create a coat of arms, make poems and learn the National Anthem among other things.
