This week we have continued to follow the adventures of the wonderful and exciting Traction Man. We have writing caption for Traction Mans adjectives and labelling his equipment so we know what it is. In maths we have been exploring the greater than, less than and equal to signs : < > = and how to use them accurately.
Within Topic, we have been exploring design and technology. Unfortunately Traction Man’s rocket powered shoe broke down so we had to design him a new mode of transport thinking about the dangerous adventure he was going on.
Things to look forward to next week:
- In Maths we will start to learn about partitioning numbers starting with the number 5.
- In English we will be exploring how stories are split up into a beginning, middle and an end, as well as planning our own Traction Man adventure story
- In Phonics we will be reviewing the sounds ai, ee, igh and oa’
