It’s been a wonderful week of learning in Reception this week.

Phonics – Our phonics this week recapped Unit 8.

To continue this learning at home, you could support your child to read and write the words: bump, dust, gulp and hunt.

Maths – In Maths, we focused on exploring pictoral representations to identify amounts that were more than and fewer than each other.

Project – We continued with our project, ‘All Creatures Great and Small’, learning all about nocturnal creatures such as bats, owls and hedgehogs.

Art Skill of the Week – In our craft areas, we used coffee filters to create bats.

Next week, we will continue with our project ‘All Creatures, Great and Small’, this time focusing on the patterns of animals.

Well done to all of the children for a wonderful week of learning!
