Wow! What an incredible year it has been in Reception. We would like to thank every single Acorn, Pumpkin and Sunflower for a truly wonderful year. We would also like to thank all of the families for their support over the year. We are so proud of the progress the children have made and we know that they will make amazing Bumblebees, Butterflies and Dragonflies in September.
All 90 children achieved their Rainbow Challenge certificate this week- our super learners are continuing to challenge themselves! We are so happy with the enthusiasm that the children have shown for these challenges- well done everyone!
We hope you all have a fantastic time over the Summer holiday and we look forward to seeing the children as they settle into their new classes.
Optional Summer holiday Rainbow Challenges (we won’t be checking ;))
Blue- make a countdown calendar to Year One.
Yellow- write a summer diary to record any special days or lovely memories.
Red- find natural materials and make a self portrait.
Green- go on a mini beast hunt (there are lots of caterpillars and butterflies!)
Purple- go to the park and enjoy the equipment.
Orange- be as helpful as you can to other members of your family.
