Wow! Yet another super fun packed week for Meadows!
We have been super busy getting into the ‘Animal Carnival’ spirit and moved our bodies to the beat! We also made some fabulous musical instruments which we used to perform in our Meadow’s Orchestra and to calm our bodies and minds, we took part in some scarf Yoga!
Next Week:
We will continue to build on last weeks focus and enhance our learning environment with more festive activities!

Adult Focus 1: Listen with increased attention to sounds and respond by expressing your thoughts and feelings- Q: If you found a magical door behind a bookshelf to a magical world, where all the animals talk, dance and sing, what would you do, ask, say, feel? Let’s scribe the words you use to describe each piece of music.

Adult Led 2- Cooking a Christmas Crispy, Christmas Tree sandwiches, Jelly and Ice-cream
Mark Making/Fine Motor: I can write (mark-make) a name/message in a Christmas card or draw a picture and tell a grown up what it says. Fine festive craft making.
Mathematics: I am beginning to understand that the last number reached when counting, tells me how many there are in total /altogether
PSED, PD, EAD: Making Healthy choices.
I can use scissors safely and with control to make a fine cut when selecting pictures for my plate of healthy Christmas food.
What healthy food are you going to choose? Discuss.
Which colourful vegetables could you have? Challenge yourself to try something new.
Ways to support at home:
Discuss healthy food options, exercise and the importance of good dental hygiene.
