We’ve had a fabulous festive week at Meadows Nursery!
We have been getting very Christmassy indeed, enjoying decorating our tree and making lots of decorations to put up around the room. We have also been exploring ice in our outdoor area, watching it melt and using our senses and our communication skills to describe this process. We have continued our baking activity in key groups, and everyone has really enjoyed making their own gingerbread man!
The highlight of our week was definitely our Christmas singing concert on Wednesday. We absolutely loved singing our Christmassy songs, using our Christmas costumes and props, and singing to all the grown ups who came to see us! Thank you so much for coming and for enjoying it with us. Another highlight this week has been our Family Friday celebration. We loved sharing our learning with our families and showing them around our learning spaces. We hope you all enjoyed seeing all the wonderful things we have been up to in the Nursery.
Next week will be equally as exciting with our Christmas parties happening too! Thank you so much for signing up to donate some Christmas party food for the children – we really appreciate it.
Wishing you a lovely weekend,
The Nursery Team
