Magnificent Meadows, we are so proud of you all!
What a wonderful finish to this first half of the summer term! Today we took part in our whole school ‘Queens Jubilee Street Party’. We wore our crowns with pride and enjoyed a delicious ‘high tea’ whilst listening to celebratory music. A real sense of a joyful community!
Next Half of the Summer Term
We will continue with our theme of ‘Traditional Tales, sharing, ‘The Three Little Pigs’, ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ and finally ‘The Enormous Turnip’. We would also like to enrich this theme by inviting families to bring and share other tales from around the world. Do you have one? Maybe a traditional tale your grandparents shared with you? Would you be willing to come into Nursery to share it or even read it in your home language? We would love to hear it!
Key Vocabulary for ‘The Three Little Pigs’- pigs, wolf, built, house, straw, load, brick, bundle, sticks, chimney, huff, puffed, blow, chin.
