Rain, rain go away…! Despite the weather being quite wet this week, we enjoyed loads of indoor and outdoor play in Meadows!
We continued discussing our family safety circles with the children during key time, and we read the books: Only one you to discover how unique each one of us is and The Circles all around us which explains how our family and social circles can grow bigger and bigger to include friends and people in our community! The children have been practicing their fine motor skills by sorting out pebbles, pom poms and blocks by colour, size and shape. They also had lots of fun painting with conkers, please check on Tapestry for more details!
Outside, we have been investigating which conker will roll faster depending on the guttering slope! We also enjoyed some exciting Autumn scavenger hunts where the children spotted several Autumn colours, shapes and items and collected wonderful resources which they used to make potions in the mud kitchen!
As the weather is getting colder, we would like to share the following link to encourage the children to try and put their coats on independently: How to put your coat on! (youtube.com)
Also, please could we kindly remind our lovely families that according to the school’s Uniform policy, children should not wear jewellery unless for religious or cultural reasons.
We hope you all have a lovely weekend! See you all next week!
