The Gingerbread Man
This week, Meadows have continued to enjoy another Traditional Tale – The Gingerbread Man.
We have learnt all about different root vegetables and enjoyed using our senses to describe real root ginger, sweet potatoes, carrots, red onions, radish, fennel and garlic. How many can you remember? We even planted some potatoes and also observed our ‘magic beans’ that we had previously planted, sprouting out!
There has been a lot of water play in the glorious sunshine too! Green leaves and Daisy flower soup, using the hosepipe to create puddles, finding out if dried Dandelions are waterproof in the rain and magic chalk mark-making using builders paintbrushes dipped in water.
