Well done everyone! We have made it through the first half of the Autumn term!

Once again, we are super proud of our little ‘Meadows’ this week! We have been finding out all about the variety of pumpkins and have even tasted some too!

Instead of ‘Going on a Bear hunt’, we went on a ‘Pumpkin Hunt’ to our school allotment, where we picked our very own! We have been developing our fine motor skills by using a hammer to tap in golf tees into pumpkins and counted the holes it made! Discussed, compared and ordered the various shapes, sizes, and weight and used a variety of mathematical language to describe them too. Such brilliant mathematicians we are!

Autumn2  Topic- The Show must Go On!

Our Topic for next term is ‘The Show Must Go On’. We will look at dance and music from around the world and lots of different types of performance. In November, we will be visiting Storey’s Field Centre to watch a performance from a visiting theatre company. This will support us as we put on our own festive performance in December! The visit will involve a voluntary contribution of around £6. Details will be sent out after the half term holiday.
