Mark Making/Physical: Using large and small muscular movements to create shapes. Messy creativity- I can use my hands and fingers to create clouds with paint and shaving foam.
Mathematics: I can talk about and explain the amounts that I can see in groups of objects and identify and explain how they are the same or different.
EAD: I can look up to the sky, talk about how it makes me feel and draw what I see. What happen when I hear the roar of a thunderstorm?
Ways to support at home
Whilst you are ‘out and about’ in the environment, encourage your children to look up at the sky. Talk about the shapes and different shades of clouds. What do the cloud shapes remind you of? Do they look like any creatures, faces or anything else? Maybe take a photo to share in class or draw them. How would you describe it? Vocabulary- curvy/straight float, light, drift, shades of white/grey, what colour are they at sunrise/set? Small fluffy, big rain clouds, etc.
Snack donations
Big thank you to our families for contributing to the nursery snack. Thanks to you the children have enjoyed a variety of fruit, vegetables, as well as crackers, breadsticks and cheese. We value your continuous support.
Keep safe and warm this weekend!
